Authors of Junior High literature are going on strike because movies are being made about their books and it is ruining their literature. The 7th grade students are going to read a novel, and watch the movie that it is based on,and write a letter to the author for which one they prefer and why? After they write a letter to the author, the students will write a compare and contrast paper between the movie and the book. They will also go online and find 3 book reviews and 3 movie revies. The students will work with 3 other group memeber, making it a total of 4 students, to read a book choosen from the list. The students will also present their book to the class giving good description so that other students will have an idea about the book and possible want to read it as well.
