Here are a list of materials and resources needed to complete this WebQuest.

1. Art supplies: craft sticks, green tempera paint, egg cartons (divided into links of 3 per student), pipe cleaners,

2. Teacher's Friend April Monthly theme book.

3. Insectlore butterfly habitat. I have three in my room. One for caterpillars. One for the pupa. One for the hatched butterflies.

4. A butterfly pattern to make the butterfly shape book. I found mine on www.kinderplans.com.

5. A copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. This book is readily available on www.amazon.com or www.booksamillion.com.

6. You will also need lots of paper for students to draw on or a science journal.

7. A butterly life cycle floor puzzle. I purchased mine through Scholastic.
