A research adventure designed to broaden students' understanding of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's and of the events and courageous people that brought about change.

We have just finished reading The Watsons Go to Birmingham-1963. In this book, the theme was the Civil Rights Movement in America and what it was like to be African American in the U.S. in the 1960ís. During this lesson you will be working with your team to learn more about the Civil Rights Movement and create a Power Point project to share with the class.
