Introduction

    Experiencing a severe weather condition can be terrifying.  Many people will live through more than one and some may never experience any. But what would it be like to live through an earthquake, or a tornado? 

Essential question:  What type of preparation is necessary to stay safe during severe weather?

    This webquest teaches about how to properly prepare for severe weather.  You will be in groups of four and your three other peers will essentially be your pen pals.  You will have an opportunity to research information about your specific weather condition and use the information to write a friendly letter. Overall, this webquest will enhance research and writing skills, while making you knowledgable about severe weather conditions!
