Teacher Introduction
There is a lot to be learned about the environment and the natural occurrances that can not be controlled. In this lesson the focus is on finding out about how to be prepared for severe weather. The students will need to find five clues in information that was given to them about what happens before a disaster arrives. Also, they will have to make their own survival kit of things that they find most importatnt during severe weather. The purpose of the lesson is to learn how to research and be able to apply that knowledge to a letter for their friends.
