This Webquest may be more beneficial if the students have a previous introduction or experience with figurative language becuase this was designed to primarily focus on poetry. This may help this assignment flow more smoothly. In addition, teachers may want groups to only focus on 1 poem each instead of all 3. Depending on the students' experience with close reading and poetry they may need more guidence with this aspect. The time frame and success of this assignment will vary greatest depending on the students' experience with these aspects. However, this Webquest assignment is intended to take about 2 class sessions and the last portion of it (Process 3) can be concluded as homework with a set due date.
