·        How do the geography, resources, climate, recreation opportunities, and other features of an area make it a place you might want to move to?

Washington State is a great place to live yet it has very different environments from east to west, north to south.  Some areas are very rural or forested.  Some areas are flat and others are hilly or mountainous.  Some have dry and warm climates.  Some places are cooler with a lot of rain.  Some areas have small towns, spread far apart.  Some areas are more populated.  Why do more people settle in those particular places? What draws people to a place?  What makes each region unique and livable?

There are many features of a region that may affect what it’s like to reside there.  What are some of the features?  Which of these features affect other features?  Why are they important to a region’s livability?
