1. I recommend
that the book, “Snow” by Orhan Pumak be purchased for all students in the
class.
2. I
also recommend that the students fund raise for the trip with letters of
support and money earned from their summer or part time jobs.
3. The
first segment of this class is meant to be a recruiting session for students in
an after school program. After it is successful I hope to run these and other
simulations as part of a course to receive elective credit.
