The Declaration of Independence, signed on July 4, 1776, is the cornerstone on which our great nation was built.  But that one day was not the sole reason for the American Revolution. It was the result of many disputes between the American colonists and the government of Great Britain. Disputes that took place over the course of twenty years.

When and where did these events take place, and who was involved? What impact did each event have on our country's history, and why did they happen in the first place?
