Introduction

In 1873, French writer Jules Verne wrote his book Around the World in Eighty Days. In this adventure story, the main character Phileas Fogg of London and his French valet Passepartout take a bet to circumnavigate the world in 80 days. Today a trip around the world would be easy to do and take a lot less time than 80 days!
