This WebQuest allows students to research the Olympics, past and present, and to decide on a new event to add to the Olympics. Students must fill out an application and then create a persuasive brochure highlighting why their event should be chosen.

Introduction

The International Olympic Committee needs YOU!  They would like to add a new Olympic event to the Summer Olympics in 2012.  The Olympics will be held in London, England.  They are taking ideas and will decide soon which event will be added.  You must submit your idea to them soon in order to be in the running.
