This webquest is geared for fourth graders learning the Utah science core curriculum, Standard 5 (Utah Biomes, Plants and Animals)

Introduction

Are you a survivor? Could you live in the outdoors, with no modern conveniences? Using your knowledge and skills alone, could you brave the environment and come out ALIVE?

You and your team have been selected to spend the next year living in one of these three biomes: desert, wetland, or forest.  You have two weeks, on this knowledge quest, to prove your survival skills.  The only supplies you may take with you are:  cooking utensils, a change of  clothes, sleeping bag, and a knife. During this time, your survival depends on what you know.  Remember, what you DON'T know can hurt you!
