Cyberbullying is an epidemic sweeping our Nation's schools. How does it start? Who do you turn to? Are there any repercussions? What can be done to prevent this eBullying? This WebQuest helps students to further develop their understandings of Cyberbullying, definitions, and prevention.

Introduction

"I don't understand how this could happen to me? I mean, I use to be pretty popular. Well, that is until I had this problem with this so-called friend at school."

"I thought we were friends! I guess I made him mad when I accidentally lost his favorite CD? Now I have no friends. How could this of happened?"

 

"Out of no where I was getting these IM's and e-mails that were really mean. They were even from people I didn't know! They were vulgar, angry and sometimes violent! I was very scared."

In order to help him and others you must understand what Cyberbullying is, how to prevent it, and if it does occur what are the necessary steps to take to stop it.
