Six Flags is looking for an area for a new theme park. Your group must create a power point presentation and a brochure about your region that will convince them that your region of the United States is the best place for the park.
Introduction
Do you enjoy going to theme parks but can't convince your parents to make the two-day journey to reach such an adventure? What if the corporate leaders of a company like Six Flags wanted to build a new park and you had the opportunity to convince them that your region of the country was the best place to build one? What if you could convince them to build one that was close enough for your family to go? This webquest will give you the chance to do just that! Your team will explore one of the five regions of the United States - West, Midwest, Southwest, Southeast, or Northeast - to learn about the great things that area has to offer. You will share this information with Six Flags Corporation (the class) in the way of a brochure and a power point presentation.
