In the Newfoundland & Labrador Kindergarten to grade six curriculum guides, dental health is one aspect covered at every grade level. Therefore, this lesson would be a beneficial way to address the sometimes-cumbersome topic of dental health, while also addressing a magnitude of outcomes in other subject areas as well. This lesson is mainly focussed around grades five and grade six students(based on inferential ability, application skills, reading/writing/viewing abilities etc). However, the flexibility of the lesson idea allows it to be bumped up or down to accommodate any grade level depending on the learner.
