This webquest was developed for Middle School students ranging between 6-8th grade. You may have to change the content standards for any particular grade, and this webquest was created to entice students and prepare them for Karen Hess's novel, "Out of the Dust," which was written for 6th grade levels. This is a great webquesst for looking beyond a book and giving attention to the setting of both the novel and great historical context.
