This is it! It's your time to shine! As a class full of young, brilliant minds and talent, it is your task to express yourself in the language of poetry. In groups, after studying a poet of your choice and writing a biographical expose on him/her with your group, you will choose your favorite of their work and write your own poem in a similar style. You will need to use your knowledge from previous classes, the Internet, public speaking, the power of prose, and your poet in order to successfully complete this task.
