This WebQuest is for high school (grades 9-12) who are learning about the Holocaust / WWII in their Social Studies class and as an English teacher you need an assignment to correlate with the Social Studies class.

Introduction

The Holocaust was an extermination of Jews between 1939 - 1945 in order to create the "perfect race."  Hitler's extermination is the most horrendous act of violence against mankind in the history of the world.  We are not going to focus on the men who murdered innocent people, but on the people who overcame tragendy and continued with their life.  We are going to learn about the survirors -  the people who deserve to be heard.
