Task
You will work in groups of 4. Each group will be assigned a sub-genre within the bounds of fantasy and science fiction. (High Fantasy, Low Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, Alternate History, Hard Science Fiction, Soft Science Fiction)
Each group member will research and read examples of their sub-genre from the links provided in the process section.
Then, each group will brainstorm ideas for their short stories using the elements they have learned about and seen used.
Then, 2 group members will develop the characters of the short story, while the other 2 group members will develop the plot and setting for the short story.
Combine the ideas and create an original short story.
