Task
The goal of this assignment is to create an alternative history based on the post-World War II conflict between the growing eastern and western blocs. Put your twist on the Cold War that may have become suddenly hot or not. You may go in any direction you desire, make it your own story, as long as your alternative history incorporates 10 historically accurate events/ persons/ things (examples: Cuban Missile Crisis, Kennedy, ICBMs, Washington-Moscow Hotline, United Nations, Nuclear Winter, Fidel Castro, Mutually Assured Destruction, U2 spyplane crash). It is not mandatory to just focus on the Soviet Union and United States either, just do some research and establish your own settings, conflicts, and aftermaths. It is suggested to begin your alternative history from actuall events in your introduction, then let the nuclear holocasust or new world order begin! The end result of your alternative history should be at least 2 double-spaced pages, more is welcomed. Bombs away!!!
