Introduction

Have you ever wondered why math comes so easily to some students while others groan at the mention of fractions? Have you noticed that some students are always first in line for PE and recess while others shuffle their feet? Have you ever struggled to learn something that a friend thinks is easy? Some of these questions and more can be answered by exploring what has been learned about our brains and Multiple Intelligences (MI).

Your brain needs your help? Your mission is to learn about Multiple Intelligences and identify your strongest intelligence area.  Working alone or in small groups, you'll discover which activities will help you in school, what careers work well with your intelligence, and some famous folks who are smart in the same ways you are.

You can stop wondering how smart you are and begin answering the question "HOW MI SMART?"

“I believe that the brain has evolved over millions of years to be responsive to different kinds of content in the world. Language content, musical content, spatial content, numerical content, etc.”                                                                                                  -Howard Gardner
