If you've ever had a puppy or a kitten you can see the physical changes your pet goes through before it becomes a full grown adult. All animals go through something called a life cycle, the changes it goes through over time. All animals have different and unique life cycles. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a turtle, a frog, a butterfly, a horse, or a goose? Here is your chance to take on the life cycle of one of these animals and really step into their shoes from the time they are born to mature adulthood.

Introduction

Have you ever wondered why those cute baby animals have to grow up? This is all part of an animals life cycle, every animal has to go through it. For the next week, our class will be studying the life cycles of several animals. We will be studying why these animals need to grow up, and what physical changes these animals go through while they are growing up. In groups of three or more, we will be studying the wonderful life cycles of a turtle, horse, frog, butterfly, and goose! Each life cycle is different and interesting in their own way.
