Fifteen Minutes of Fame, Help Your Author Get There!

This project is geared toward eleventh grade students in an Honors English course. The WebQuest was created to introduce literary authors and poets that are important to literature but whom are not necessarily studied in High School. Students at this level need to already have had experience analyzing literary text, terms or movements in their previous education. This experience is needed not only to analyze an author or poet but also to make connections between an author/poet , their work and the society that influenced their writing. It is also important that they can present their findings both orally and visually. The presentations that the students give act as an educational introduction to a wide variety of authors/poets, literature and time periods of the 20th and 21st centuries.
