Task
Students will be working in groups of three. Each group will choose a specific author or poet that they would like to represent. See the process page for the complete list.
Each group member will chose an investigative role. The roles are the Background Investigator, the Literature Investigator and the Current Events Investigator.
After each investigator's research is complete each investigator is ready to share their findings with the other group members and collaboratively discuss how all of their individual findings relate.
Using all of the findings the group will put together a fifteen minute presentation to share with their peers.
That's not all! The group will also take on the role of creating an advertising billboard for their specific author or poet. The author/poet is the hottest up coming writer of their time! The group has been selected put together an advertising billboard that best reflects their author and their work. The author/poet is counting on the gorup to make sure that they stay on top! The group will discuss their advertising billboard with their peers during their oral presentation.
