Task

Our school recently received a $2,000 donation that is to be used for the creation of an outdoor classroom/nature center.  The students and teachers are very excited about this opportunity!

The principal has chosen you to be a part of the committee that is responsible for using the money to design, plan and create a grassland prairie in the empty lot behind our building.

The committee will be responsible for:

• using the Internet to gather information about prairies, including the types of plants and animals that live there
• using TuxPaint to create a design layout (or scanning a hand drawn layout)
• using an Excel spreedsheet to keep track of a budget and plan purchases
• using PowerPoint to create a 5-10 minute, final presentation of your proposed prairie design including digital picutres (either taken by the committee or borrowed from the Internet).
