The intended grade level for this WebQuest is 6, but it is modified and adapted to be appropriate for grade levels 3-8. This WebQuest is intended to be used by students in Ms. Petrey's Virtual Community School class. It is based on understanding the election process and becoming involved in current events with upcoming Ohio Primary for the 08 election process. It portrays how important the voting process is in our country.
The basic objectives:
Describe various types of elections and explain ways that citizens can participate in political parties, campaigns, and elections, such as primary, general, state, local, and national elections.
Exlain how the president of the United States is elected, what his job entails, and where the president lives.
