This WebQuest is designed for students in Ms. Petrey's EC class at Virtual Community School. It is designed so that EC students can complete it as independently as possible. It adjustable by grade level / skill level within the context of the Webquest. The focus is Language Arts. Students will acquire skills in identifying homonyms and determining meaning of words in context in order to locate groups of antomyms and synonyms.
Students should be able to utilize the print function on the computer. They should also comprehend text at a second to third grade level. Students not at this level will need to work with a partner or parent.
