STAGE 1

Step 1:  Select a scientist (past or present).  You must submit your selection for approval.  No two students may select the same scientist.

Step 2:  Use the links below to answer the following questions:

     1.  Name

     2.  Date of Birth

     3.  Date of Death (if applicable)

     4.  Family information

     5.  Gender, Ethnic Background, etc.

     6.  What were the cultural and scientific beliefs of this scientists time period and how did they impact the work and life of this scientist.

     7.  Other personal information or major events in this scientist's life.

     8.  Best know for what contribution(s)

     9.  Sacrifices made or dangers of work

     10.  Field of Science

STAGE 2

Step 2:  Have at least two classmates complete a peer review of your page.  These students should evaluate your page according to the evaluation provided in this WebQuest and provide critical feedback to help you meet the project criteria. These students should be able to tell you if you have met the requirements of this assignment in such a way that you have created a clear picture of the scientist.
