There are so many fantastic websites on Jazz, that this project can be done entirely on the internet. If you wish to supplement, however, Wynton Marsalis' "Jazz for Young People" curriculum is a fantastic resource. With workbooks, resource recordings, and supporting video, this is a great addition to any Jazz curriculum. The Ken Burns' documentary "Jazz" is also available to educators, and though it is very long, it is the definitive documentary on the history of Jazz (with great music, too!). The music for the documentary is available separately, and can be used by itself to demonstrate various periods and styles.
