As a group, decide who will perform the different tasks

Georgia Factbook Coordinator:  This person is in charge of creating the factbook that a tourist can use to decide whether or not they would like to visit Georgia.  This factbook should include the following:

1.)  Picture of Georgia

2.)  State animals, trees, flower, song, motto, and flag

3.)  Historical facts about Georgia's involvement in the American Revolution, Civil War, Reconstruction, World War I, and World War II.

4.)  Weather and Climate

Map Designer:  This person is in charge of constructing a map of Georgia.  This map should be large enough to see the entire state clearly as well as the borders of the states around it.  It should be neat and colorful.  The following should be included on your map:

1.)  Map key

2.)  Correct shape of Georgia

3.)  States that border Georgia

4.)  Major landforms

5.)  Bodies of water

6.)  The Capital in its correct location

Tourist Expert:  This person is in charge of designing a fun and creative brochure that includes three or more differen places to visit around Georgia.  You can include places like Stone Mountain, the Coca-Cola factory, the Georgia Aquarium, etc.  Your brochure should include the following"

1.)  Picture of the places you would like them to visit

2.)  Hours of Operation (if applicable)

3.)  Price per Customer (if applicable)

4.)  Brief description about each place

5.)  Must be fun and colorful

Letter Guru:  This person is in charge of writing the letter to the governor of Georgia.  As a group, use the information you have found about Georgia and decide what to say to the governor in your letter.  This letter will include the facts you have learned as well as suggestions about how to increase tourism in Georgia.  It must be at least one and a half to two pages long and include persuasive and factual suggestions.
