Task

 There are many ways to get started in the babysitting business.  You will accomplish three major tasks by completing this webquest:

• Learn how to be a responsible, creative, and reliable babysitter by:

  • examining child safety.

  • discovering child-friendly activities and creating a list of activities and materials to bring to jobs.

  • completing a certified babysitting program or course.

• Getting your own babysitting business started by:

  • creating your own flyer to advertise your services.

  • learning how to effectively and professionally communicate with parents.

• Maintain your business successfully by:

  • evaluating your performance as a babysitter.

  • managing your finances.
