Your task is to create two diary entries each in the voice of two of the following figures from the events surrounding the 1919 World Series. The first diary entry will be dated October 1, 1919,the day the World Series begins. It should reflect the feelings of the figures you have chosen as they embark on "the fix," or their optimism (or lack thereof) about the White Sox chances of winning the Series. The second diary entries will be dated August 1, 1920, the day the Black Sox Trial ended. The entries will include the verdit of that trial, background facts contributing to the feelings of joy, anger, frustration etc. of the writer and the writer's plans and  for the future.
