This webquest was design to have students use their knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology to connect specific symptoms with specific diseases/conditions.

Introduction

Your body interacts with thousands of things (living and nonliving) every day.

Some of them help you survive

while others hinder you.

It is the responsibility of physicians to determine what occurred in many of these interactions to cause you to become ill or be in some sort of pain.  Once figuring out what occurred then they must decide how to fix it.  You will have an opportunity to become junior interns in a doctor’s office.  You will use your knowledge of the anatomy of the human body with the physiology of all of its parts to determine a possible diagnosis of patients.  You must use keen observational skills to pick up on key signs and symptoms.  You must use critical thinking skills to evaluate these observations to come up with a plan to treat patients.

So strap on your stethoscope and call for your first patient.  Ooops.  Don’t forget your rubber gloves!
