The WebQuest is about food and healthy life style. The aim of this WebQuest is to make students think about how our health depends on what we eat daily and what healthy food is.

Introduction

Food is an essential part of human life. People can't live without food. Nowadays there is a great variety of food. One can find organic food and whole food on the market. We can come across such terms as slow food and comfort food. What are they. What should one choose to be healthy and have the ability to do hard work? How food is linked to our health?

"Tell me what you eat, and I'll tell you who you are," wrote renowned gastronome Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin.

Food encompasses everything that is important to people: culture, social bonds, health. Some people think that long time ago humans ate only healthy food, because all food was natural. Nowadays food contains chemicals, preservatives, artificial colours and flavours. And all of them influence our health negatively. Besides, people eat food that is easily cooked or alredy cooked and do not even think what fast food or junk food they consume and what hamful effect it has on their health.
