This Webquest is about different religions and people's beliefs.

Introduction

All people believe in one thing or another. Some people believe in supernatural, others believe in science and scientific explanation of the phenomena around them. The fatalists belive that all events in our lives are predetermined by fate and therefore cannot be altered.

A huge number of people all over the world profess some religion - Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism - and find in their religion answers to some difficult questions of their lives. While for the others religion is something that gives them an identity, like nationality, age and gender.

But the most important thing is that people of different religions living next to each other learn to respect other people's beliefs. And there is a way to learn to respect.  For that you need to understand what religion means to you, research other religions, accept that some differences between religions can never be changed, put yourself in some other people's shoes and remember the golden rule that states the following

ONE SHOULD TREAT OTHERS AS ONE WOULD LIKE OTHERS TO TREAT ONESELF.
