Hybrid cars have become popular cars in this day and age because of the rise of the gas prices. With this webquest students will be researching a variety of Hybrid cars. They will compare and contrast the price of the car along with the average gas mileage to find the best hybrid car. The students will then graph their finding and place their graph and information on a poster.
I have created a math WebQuest for students to justify what they think will be the best hybrid car by researching various hybrid cars. The students were asked to find the average price of each car along with the average gas mileage of each car. The students expanded this information by creating a graph of their choice from the data they compiled. The students will present their findings to the class and include a justification for their decision on what they consider to be the best hybrid car.
