This webquest allows students to learn about Martin Luther King, Jr. and discover how he made such a positive impact on the United States. Students will honor MLK by designing a service project and persuading others to join in the cause!

Introduction

"Recognize that he who is greates among you shall be your servant.  That's your new definition of greantess."

"It means that everybody can be great because everybody can serve!"

"You only need a heart full of grace, soul generated by love, and you can be that servant."

Excerpts taken from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech, "The Drum Major Instinct."

We celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. on the third Monday of January.

Do you know why?

In this webquest you will discover what made MLK one of the most important people in the history of the United States.  You will honor all that he accomplished by developing a service project and encouraging others to discover the dream through their own positive actions.

Can you be great?
