You are going to come up with a project that commemorates your 'year abroad.' You will simulate a stay overseas to live in another country in order to study a foreign language. A budget will need to be created to show the costs of the year: travel, room and board, education and entertainment. Budgets will vary according to the choices that you make: where you will live, study, travel, what you will do for entertainment, etc. You may not exceed $30,000 for the year and therefore will need to evaluate your choices carefully in order to stay within your budget.
