Introduction

Many cultures around the globe have looked at nature and have felt inspired. Sometimes people build buildings to mimic mountains like the pyramids of the ancient Egyptians and Aztecs.  Others draw herds of bison on cave walls or paint country landscapes on canvas.  Other cultures see the wonder and beauty of music and are inspired to write songs.

In this lesson, we will learn about how different composers are inspired by nature, write and notate a short song inspired by nature, and we will make instruments out of or decorated with elements found in nature.
