Creating a WebQuest can be very timely.  It also requires that your students have access to computers, which I know, not all classrooms have.

I'm sure these activities can be adapted using brochures from the USDA's food pyramid and if you take the time before hand to print out the appropriate information from the websites for the students to browse.
