This WebQuest takes students on an adventure to discover the characteristics of weather and the way they react with each other to affect our atmosphere. The students will be asked to synthesize the information they have collected to make predictions about the upcoming weather.

Want to be smarter than the Weather Man?  Why is he often wrong?  He tells you to wear shorts one day and you end up freezing?  He tells you it will rain, so you decide there is no need to water your garden.  Why did your garden die . . . because the Weather Man was wrong . . . or because you listened to the Weather Man rather than learning to read the sky for yourself?  This WebQuest will take you on an adventure to discover how our weather works.  Do I see forecasting in your future?
