This Webquest allows the students to research and present information based on a topic that I would have normally taught in my class. It provides the students with the opportunity to become the "Experts" in a certain subject and to 'teach the teacher' and the other classmates about the topic.
Introduction
Have you ever wanted an opportunity to travel back in time and see what it was like in Europe during a World War? Well now you have your chance! Ms. Cameron has lost all of her records that contain information about World War Two. She needs you, with your group reporters, to journey back in time and gather as much information as you can! Once you have gathered all the information on the topic you have been given, you must present your findings to the head historian, Ms. Cameron. She needs you to be as specific as you can, so she can replace her notes! To report on your findings, you must assume the identiy of a reporter for the Modern Western Times. You will pretend to live in this time period, and will bring World War Two to life through your topic.
