The students participating in the webquest will investigate Louis Riel and perform a mock trial for treason based on the evidence available.

Teacher Introduction

 The intention of this webquest is to allow the students to examine the events of the trial of Louis Riel and give them an opportunity to experience history first hand.  As the teacher you will be able to guide the students towards a conclusion whether or not they feel that Louis Riel was tried unfairly.  Through research and a presentation you will be able to evaluate their understanding of the Red River Rebellion and impending trial.
