Role: Each member of your group will become an expert in either navigation (Navigator), culture (Kahuna), voyaging (Captain), or oral history (Storyteller).


Audience: Your audience is fourth grade students from the 21st century.


Situation: You have joined an ancient Polynesian migration from Tahiti, voyaging to an unknown land far, far away.


Product, Performance, and Purpose: You will create a documentary film with four episodes creating evidence that Polynesian migration from Tahiti happened. You should include historically accurate facts from the perspective of your expert.  Also include relevant props and costumes to enhance the storytelling.
