Process
1. Your group
will research the process of How Ice Cream is Made and then you will complete a "How Ice Cream is Made Chart." Please print the following page:

2. Listen to your group members' ideas of a new ice cream flavor and cooperatively decide on one flavor.
3.
Individually, you must complete a worksheet by writing the name of your
group's flavor, completing a description of the flavor, and completing a description of the
package. Please print the following page and follow the directions: (Inventing A New Ice Cream Flavour)
4. As a group you must "Advertise Your New Ice Cream Flavor." Your group will design a poster explaining your new flavor and package description. The poster should have a title, a short description, be very colorful, and have your names on it.
5. Finally, be prepared as a group to share your poster with the class.
Now that you are done creating your own ice cream flavor and package, you will research how to make Homemade Ice Cream.
1. Go to this website (Making Ice Cream), read How to Make Ice Cream, and watch the video at the bottom of the page.
2. When everyone has read the article and watched the video, your group will make ICE CREAM!!!
3. Go to your teacher and he/she will help you measure out the ingredients and pour them into a bag.
4. Once your group has the two bags (one filled with ice and one filled with the ice cream mixture), shake them!
5. SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE!!!!!!!!!
6. Take turns with your group members shaking the ice cream bag for about 10 to 15 minutes.
7. Once you are done shaking, go to your teacher and he/she will scope out the ice cream.
8. Finally, go ahead and eat your treat!!!
