To research different aspects of pet care for six different animals. 

Found minimal information.  Graphic organizer was only 25% full. Found some infomation on some of the animals.  Graphic organizer was about 50% full. Found a lot of information. Graphic organizer was about 75 % full.  Responded to both questions on graphic organizer, for all six animals.

 

To work cooperatively as a group. 

Never participated in group dicussions.  Did not get along with other group members. Rarely participated in group discussions.  Had some arguments with other group members. Participated in some of the group discussions.  Mostly got along with other group members. Participated in group discussions.  Got along well with other group members.

 

To write a letter persuading a fictional child to get a certain type of pet.  

The letter was choppy and hard to read.  Their reasons were not based on the research done for each pet. There were a lot of grammar mistakes.  The letter contained only one reason why the child should get the recommended pet. There were some grammar mistakes in the letter.  It contained two reasons for the child to get the recommended pet. Letter was well-written.  It contained at least three reasons from group's research, for why that child should get the recommended pet.

 

Manage time wisely. 

Didn't do their part of the assignment by the time the final assignment was due.      Didn't get everything done.  Other group members had to help finish parts of the assignment. Got all of the work done, but group members sometimes had to wait because something wasn't finished on time. Got each part of the assignment done on time.
