Your task is to take a close look at the Electoral College and use different methods of mathematical processes that we have learned throughout the semester in order to evaluate the Electoral College.  You will start by using basic mathematical assessment to determine your original view on the Electoral College and it will increasingly get more involved.   I will expect all of your opinions to be based purely on the math involved instead of current political views you hold.  Remember that this is a math course not a social studies course, but we will use social studies in order to learn more about math.

You will be asked to complete a total of 6 tables.  It is required that you make your tables using Microsoft Excel.  Follow this link to find help on how to use Microsoft Excel.  If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask.

You will have one month to complete this assignment.  It is best to do this assignment in little segments instead of all at once because it is a lot of work, but if you take your time and follow all of the steps accurately, you should be successful. The due date for this assignment will be given in class. No late assignments will be accepted.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask during class time.  You will be given some class time to do this assignment, but please be advised that you will be expected to complete most of this assignment at home.
