This is a 50 states WebQuest. Students choose a state to create a presentation to convince the royal family to visit their state.
Introduction
Exciting News! The royal family: King Jacob, Queen Emma, and their daughter, Princess Emily, from the country of Bonneville, would like to spend three days in the United States, during a flight layover as they head to the country of Deseret to attend a royal wedding. Because they are going to only be in the United States for three days, and this is their first time in the United States, they were not sure where to go. So, they came up with a bright plan, and a wonderful offer to one potential pair of students who will help them make a decision of where to go. They have asked for a state presentation describing a variety of features about each of the different states. The royal family has provided a list of items they would like to know about each state. From all of the state presentations given, they he will choose the state that had the best presentation with the most information given and the best persuasive argument. In return, they will provide that students and their families an all expense paid trip to their castle in Bonneville, upon his return to his country. His special guests will be treated like royalty by his castle staff. A special royal dinner, in their honor, will take place the night before their departure back to the United States.
