This is a 29 Counties of Utah WebQuest. Students choose a county to create a presentation to convince the royal family to visit their county.
Introduction
Exciting News! The royal family of Bonneville would like to spend three days in Utah during a flight layover as they head to the country of Deseret to attend a family reunion. Because they are going to be in Utah for only three days, and this is their first time in Utah, they are not sure where to go. So, they came up with a clever plan, and a wonderful offer. Six potential lucky students will help them make a decision of where to go. They have asked for a county presentation describing a variety of aspects about the different counties (the king has provided a list of items he would like to know about each county - which will be revealed later in this webquest!). From all of the county presentations given, he will choose the three counties that had the best presentation with the most information given in a pleasing manner. In return, he will provide the six students and their families (and two additional guests) an all expense paid trip to his castle in Bonneville, upon his return to his country. The special guests will be pampered by the entire castle staff. A special royal dinner, in their honor, will take place the night before their departure back to Utah.

For this Web Quest, you and your partner will be assigned a particular county to research by your teacher and you will gather factual information about that county. You will then put together a presentation trying to convince the royal family to visit your county.
