This webquest is designed to help students perceive and respond to messages in music. Students will describe what various pieces of music makes them think about and/or what it is saying to them on a personal level. Learners will also familiarize themselves with, and investigate the lives of the composers of the various musical selections featured.

Introduction

If you are like most people, you probably listen to music every day.  But, have you ever stopped to think about how that music is making you feel, or what it's making you think about?  Have you ever wondered about the people who write the music that you listen to? 

Now you will get to find out the answers to these questions because, you are going to go on a musical journey.  On this journey you will discover that the music you listen to, plays a big role in how you think and feel.  You will also get to learn about who the people are behind the music you hear.

So hold on tight, as we take a fascinating ride into the magical world of music.
